22 Queer Non-Canon Ships Worth Losing All Your Sleep Over
"Honestly, the fact that the show has blatantly teased it for nearly TEN DAMN YEARS and STILL say Dean and Cas are 'just friends' has become insulting to me as a fan of the show. The storyline and chemistry are all there, and while it might have been a ratings risk to make them canon in 2008, it sure as hell isnt now.
Dean and Cas could move down as one of the most epic 'star-crossed lovers' storylines to ever be shown on TV, if the CW would just let it arise already!"

"I actually can't even begin to portray Dean and Cas' relationship because its too painful and beautiful. I've gotten a lot of shit from homophobic members of the spn fandom about how I'm delusional for shipping them, or how I'm gross for seeing their love as romantic. Their story literally spans a decade so I can't condense it for this, but I've never felt this strongly for two fictional dudes in love. It's so frustrating but I really ponder it's leading somewhere soon."

The best part of any fandom is its fan fiction, and holy hippogriffs did the Harry Potter franchise birth some truly awesome works of art. My favorite fan-made additions to the Potterverse are the queer ships, which fill out a major deficiency in the provider material. The richness of some of these fics has the potential to rival even the unique text – ranging from angsty slow burns that hit you right in the feels to fluffy one-shots that are sure to leave you giggling like a 13-year-old.
Sit down, because I need to ramble about my favorite queer ships like it’s one of the most important things in the world. Because it is.
1. Sirius Black x Remus Lupin (Wolfstar)
I. Am. Obsessed. This is partly because I love these two idiots an unhealthy amount and partly because I am a sucker, unlike many, for the friends-to-lovers trope. There isn’t much about these two Marauders’ personal lives before the war in the books, which leaves much to the imagination and becomes a perfect breeding earth for some incredible stories. While Mike is still in a relationship with Eleven, his ship with Will, called "Byler," emerged as Tumblr's top pair for 2022.
Coming in second was another match from the Netflix show: "Steddie," a ship between Steve Harrington and season 4 fan favorite Eddie Munson. It seems that every illustrate and movie nowadays has an LGBTQ ship that fans can’t get out of their heads. From Captain Marvel and Valkyrie to Harry Potter and Draco Malfroy, LGBTQ fans and fans of LGBTQ content can find a couple to ship in any fandom.
But do you perceive some of the most popular ones? That’s what YouTube channel REACT, sister channel to the popular Fine Bros. Entertainment channel, asked its reactors.
As the channel’s staff told reactors:
“In honor of Pride month, we’re going to evaluate your knowledge of LGBTQ+ ships.”
They then add, “Shipping has become very well-liked with the Homosexual community due to the lack of representation in media for queer relationships. And while that is getting improved, there’s still aren’t that many compared to straight relationships on tv.”
Reactors are then given ship names and asked to guess which characters and tv shows/films that designate comes from. If that sounds favor fun to you, you can review out the video below.
