Hey!

So yeah, this is my blog, as an unlock ground for those in the warcraft community to converse, think about, fantasize and split that one intrest that seems somewhere eluding of the game in other aspects, that of wow’s gay community.

In general, well I love warcraft, because of its background, colorful characters, themes and expansive open world, when you consider the size of the franchise, often it feels like the developers miss a trick when it comes to the game itself, that of the same-sex attracted players in the game, and how much it becomes overlooked, simply because it gets made out to be a taboo subject they’d sooner disregard, or if at all, only hint as it in the smallest way.

Yet, when you consider about other gaming genres that consent for openly male lover characters to grow, from allowing identical sex marriage in skyrim, to mass effect 3 allowing you to make Shepard gay, its obvious other game companies are ahead of the curve, well blizzard falters behind. Even with admitting there are inspired as comic book geeks themselves, from themes like x-men and spiderman, it doesn’t seem they picked up on allowing one social aspect of the collective to feel as welcome as other

There's no reason to have openly gay characters in the storyline. The overwhelming majority of characters/npc's don't have a sexuality at all, there are only a couple enormous love interests in the game and it only makes sense that those are heterosexual relationships since less than 3.5% of the population in the US is LGBT.

This isn't about discrimination or anything, a heterosexual admire story is representative of the player base, a homosexual one isn't. Blizzard's goal is to construct money by telling engaging stories and making people feel attached to the characters, heterosexual lovers does that while homosexual lovers don't.

There are plenty of other groups that make up far more of the population than people who are LGBT and they aren't represented. It's not discrimination in any capacity, if you think it is then you don't know the first thing about actual discrimination.

Right now we know that Flynn and Shaw are a gay couple and we have confirmation of another gay night elf couple so I’m just wondering, will we also spot LGBT horde characters in the future as adequately for balance? I consider it would be fitting to have a queer orc couple as good because when you depart to the gay parades you can see the orc phenotype is optimal in the LGBT society even more than nighttime elf; buff muscles, macho, short hair, manly. I think it’s good to see more inclusiveness in the game, I just think it should be balanced on both factions.

We had a warchief that represented for about 2 expansions worth before he got killed off in a raid. That surely counts as a start?

Could you melancholy attempts at trolls actually get it right. There is no gay nelf couple. They’re bloody aliens for god’s sake.
The NPCs are actually obtainable now, you can actually talk to them and read this, yet people peddle this rubbish. Further proof people bemoan stuff in wow without actually checking what they’re moaning about, because at the en

    LGBT Characters?

Hey y’all. I was just wondering. Does anyone know if there are many LGBT characters in WoW? I know there’s Pelagos and Keda Bloomblade in Stones, Moss, and Tears who count as trans advocacy, but what about homosexual, lesbian, or bi representation? I haven’t seen very many (or if any) confirmed cases of it yet.

The most prominent is probably Matthias Shaw, who is in a relationship with Flynn Fairwind.

In Shadowlands there’s Thiernax and Qadarin in Ardenweald, who are a married queer couple. Margrave Sin’dane’s “favorite consort” was a female. Flynn Fairwind is attracted to both genders. There are several low characters in g
