Bella Thorne is ready to open up and express her mind.
Ahead of the release of her latest publication this week, the 21-year-old actress sat down with "Good Morning America" to discuss new discoveries in her sexuality, overcoming sexual abuse and what makes her happy.
Thorne, who came out as bisexual on Twitter in 2016, said she's recently realized her sexuality doesn't fit that label.
"I'm actually pansexual, and I didn't understand that," Thorne said in the interview, which aired Monday. "Somebody explained to me really thoroughly what that is."
Thorne described her sexuality as favoring someone's personality more than their body.

Bella Thorne had an audition canceled after coming out as bisexual
Bella Thorne says she lost an audition after coming out as bisexual.
“There were a few places on the acting side that were very negative about it,” the 21-year-old said in the new issue of Gay Times. “There was someone who, right after I came out, canceled my audition.”
She continued, “It’s not like anybody comes up to you and says, ‘Well, you’re same-sex attracted so I’m not going to hire you.’ I haven’t had that. But you can just inform by the way that people act differently around you, the way they treat you differently, the way that they glance at you or the way that they tiptoe around certain subjects because they’re walking on eggshells. In this business, that behavior makes it all very obvious.”
Thorne, who’s in an open relationship with both Mod Sun and Tana Mongeau, came out as bisexual in 2016 after posting photos of herself kissing a lady friend.

One week after splitting from actor Gregg Sulkin in 2016, Bella Thorne posted a picture of her kissing an unidentified woman on Snapchat. And, when a fan on Twitter asked her if she was bi-curious, Bella replied, "Yes".
At the time, the former Disney star Tweeted that she was grateful for all the acceptance and messages of support she was receiving from fans online. But in a recent interview with Gay Times, she has revealed how her career took a turn for the worse after coming out.
Now 21, she told Gay Times, "There were a several places on the acting side that were very negative about it. There was someone who, right after I came out, cancelled my audition. It’s not like anybody comes up to you and says, ‘Well, you’re male lover so I’m not going to hire you'.
"But you can just reveal by the way that people act differently around you, the way they treat you differently, the way that they glance at you or the way that they tiptoe around certain subjects because they’re walking on eggshells. In this business, that behaviour makes it all very obvious."
