I had a lot of shitty things happen during year 12. I ended up getting glandular fever and I was off school for a term which happened just after I’d changed subjects and a range of other things. As a result the whole time I was in year 12 I was determined to end and get to Sydney. So the day after Boxing Day I was on a coach to Sydney.
